In this class we will go so deep into putty we will make it ourselves! Students will make their own modeling materials and use it to create sculptures. We will also work with plaster cloth and paper-mache to learn about armatures. This class will at times be messy, stretchy, and bouncy!

COMIC BOOK DESIGN
[grades K-2 : Drop-off]

In this class, students will tell stories through panels by making both comic strips and comic books. By creating their own comics, students will learn about sequencing and storyline from the inside out. Students will create characters and their origins, and work on giving them unique voices through dialogue. We'll also make comics to share with friends and family.

ENGINEER THIS!
[grades 2-5 : Drop-off]

In this class we will put on our engineer hats to design and build models, mobiles and structures. Students will work with balsa wood and TechCard modeling elements to construct frame work structures, playgrounds, bridges, marble jumps and more. The work will challenge students to observe, plan, design and build in three dimensions.

Refund policy: Refunds will only be given up to two weeks before the first day of class.

Make-up policy: Students in classes for 18m-4 year olds can attend one make-up class per session. You must make arrangements ahead of time. Make-up dates are set by Brooklyn Design Lab. Make-up classes are mixed age and may or may not include the same materials from your class.

Due to the nature of our courses and small class size, there are NO MAKE-UPS in classes and workshops for grades K-6 and grown-ups.

Class cancellation policy: In the event Brooklyn Design Lab cancels your registered class, you will be notified as soon as possible and refunded.
