PAPER STUDIO : AUGUST 2-6
Paper has been made for two thousand years out of an amazing variety of sources. We will investigate paper as a medium and as a material exploring its different qualities and attributes through drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage. We'll use papyrus, rice paper, origami, banana, corrugated, vintage, and found papers in our projects.

FABRIC STUDIO : AUGUST 9-13
Fabric is amazing stuff: we wear it, we sleep in it, we sail with it, and we make art with it. In this class we'll investigate fabric through drawing, collage, painting, and printmaking. Students will work with felt, muslin, canvas, vintage pieces, and even design their own t-shirts. MONDAY-FRIDAY : 9am-11am

Make-up policy: Students in classes for 18m-4 year olds can attend one make-up class per session. You must make arrangements ahead of time. Make-up dates are set by Brooklyn Design Lab. Make-up classes are mixed age and may or may not include the same materials from your class.

Due to the nature of our courses and small class size, there are NO MAKE-UPS in classes and workshops for grades K-6 and grown-ups.

Class cancellation policy: In the event Brooklyn Design Lab cancels your registered class, you will be notified as soon as possible and refunded.
